Simulation has its limits. That’s why Skylane has invested more than $20 million in testing and qualification environments worldwide.
Our labs contain hardware from Arista, Cisco, Juniper, Dell, Nokia and NVIDIA, and many more, covering technologies from 1G to 1.6T. Here, Skylane engineers recreate customer architectures and validate compatibility before deployment.
An extensive library of fibre spools lets us recreate links from 50 metres in a data centre to 200 kilometres across a service provider network.
Today, Skylane solutions are compatible with more than 100 OEMs, giving you more choice over the optics you deploy.

Know What You’re Deploying
Every product leaving our facility is inspected and tested before shipment. Each one also goes through a multi-step optical inspection and cleaning process to address lens contamination before it reaches the customer.
Our Data Traveler System provides traceability throughout the process. It connects each component’s unique code to its test history and raw material origins.
For critical infrastructure projects, this provides a clear and complete record of how each product was validated.
Our quality processes are backed by ISO 9001:2015 certification and our products comply with REACH and RoHS requirements. Quality stays visible and traceable through to deployment.
Put Our Lab to Work for You
The testing infrastructure we use to qualify Skylane solutions is also available to customers through Lab as a Service.
Customers can bring their own environment or testing requirements. Our engineers use our equipment and platforms to validate the configuration and produce a Product Verification Report before deployment.
